| Friday, July 25th, 2003 - Another week has come and gone. Wheee... I don't know whether to laugh or cry. :-) |
| Thursday, July 24th, 2003 - A small update today to the Musings Section... I was going through some of my old documents and found an old humor list from college entitled "How To Write Good." Heh... I got a kick out of it. Hopefully you will, too. |

Tuesday, July 22nd, 2003 - The busy trend continues, so Kenn's World must suffer, unfortunately. I did manage to find time to Archive all of the June, 2003 News. I signed on recently to do another Games Industry Article for CMP Books. The article, entitled "Selling Ideas To The Games Industry" will be part of an anthology book called "Game Design Workshop." More details and a cover image will be posted in the Writing section once it's available. I've been spending my "free" time writing a spec script for USA Network's television series The Dead Zone. Michael Piller, the producer, is a fan of opening markets for "new" writers. I'm hoping he'll like what I have to say. I'm a huge fan of the show. Again, more on that situation as it develops. Two more updates posted to the infamous WTF? page. Other than that, it's pretty much business as usual for me. More soon... |
| Wednesday, July 16th, 2003 - Been really busy lately, so no time for updates... Not that anyone's reading anyway, right? More soon, hopefully, as I clear the massive "to do" list I've accumulated over the past few weeks. Take care, all! |

Thursday, July 10th, 2003 - No luck in winning the Powerball jackpot... I guess I'll actually have to "earn" my millions. Ah, well... Nothing in life is free. I've updated the Writing Page to include my contribution to The Game Developer's Market Guide and the latest edition of GameSpy's Gaming University Column. Eventually I'd like to add a screenwriting section to post some screenplays and advice for those looking to break into that lovely endeavor. Maybe I'll find some time to do that eventually. As promised, though a bit late, I've added several updates to Ye Olde WTF? Page today. Thanks for stopping by! |

Monday, July 7th, 2003 - Looks like the Powerball jackpot is up to $240,000,000 dollars! I guess it wasn't high enough for me to win the other night... I'll just have to win it on Wednesday. You know, there's a reason they call the lottery a "tax for idiots." I guess I'm an idiot... ;-) I went and saw Legally Blonde 2 with my wife this weeekend and the movie was enjoyable. Not as good or funny as the first, but it was decent to watch. What WASN'T decent was the couple sitting a seat away from me who brought in a four course meal in a backpack and were munching away at it before the movie started. The usher comes in, tells them there are no carry-ins and makes them put it away. Then he asks for their tickets and it turns out they snuck in! So rather than kick the bastards out, he escorts the guy out to the lobby to buy two tickets. What? Now I guess that would have been fine, but here's the kicker... The girl didn't speak English, so her boyfriend translated the entire movie to her as it was happening. The audience would laugh, he would translate and a few seconds later she would laugh. WHAT IN THE HOLY HELL IS THAT ALL ABOUT?!??!?!?!?! Man, I was so pissed off... Words fail me. The other movie I watched this weekend was Terminator 3... Excellent movie! Highly recommended! Ah-Nold is back! I may actually go see it again... Expect several updates to Ye Olde WTF? Page tomorrow. I was inspired this weekend... Thanks for stopping by! |

Thursday, July 3rd, 2003 - I guess I couldn't beat the 1 in 127,000,000 odds and win the Powerball drawing last night. Then again, neither did anyone else. I guess I'll just have to win the jackpot on Saturday now that it's up to $200,000,000 dollars. That would be a nice present for Independence Day, don't you think? If I had $200,000,000 that would make me worth more than LeBron James, the High School basketball phenom who hasn't played a SINGLE NBA MINUTE, yet signed a $90,000,000 contract with Nike along with an endorsement deal for Upper Deck trading cards and just today signed a $12,000,000 contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Call me bitter, but I truly hope this guy fails as an NBA player. Who's going to feel sorry for him with all that money and hype? Not I... I've posted yet another update to the WTF? Page. What can I say? Lots of things have been bothering me lately... I'm off to see Legally Blonde 2 with my wife unit tonight (ah, marriage) and Terminator 3 with the fellas tomorrow. Expect reviews of both on Monday. Have a safe, happy and healthy Independence Day weekend!

Wednesday, July 2nd, 2003 - Where the hell did June go?!?!?! Another weekend, another summer movie... The flavor of the weekend? Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines. Early reviews have been really good and I am POSITIVE that it will kick the crap out of The Hulk and The Matrix: Reloaded. I predict a fine recovery from Arnold's last vehicle, the positively AWFUL Collateral Damage. The fact that Collateral Damage got two thumbs up from Ebert & Roeper is proof that they're on the take.
Wish me luck winning the Powerball Jackpot tonight! Cash option of $90 some odd million dollars. I think I could find a way to spend that... ;-) I've posted yet another update to the WTF? Page as well. Thanks for stopping by! |
